Interesting Saturday..

It was quite a day today. We had early morning rains just before daybreak and then light rain in the late morning and early afternoon. By late afternoon, skies had cleared enough to see some peeks of sunshine!

In football news, my Tennessee Titans drafted a couple of players during the NFL Draft today. Neither player is from a school that gets you very excited (East Carolina and Eastern Michigan) but I know our front office and coaching staff know what they're doing. The first player we took was Chris Johnson, a running back, in the first round at #24. Great interview with Johnson here. The player Tennessee took in round two was Jason Jones, an athletic defensive lineman from Eastern Michigan. Really thought we'd be able to get Limas Sweed from Texas, but those Steeler clowns picked him just ahead of us. His interview is here.

Back to the weather...Our latest, local forecast has a good chance for rain here on Sunday and Sunday night, then cooler weather invades for about 36 hours..then we're back to the warm, springlike temperatures!
