Need Rain....

(Beautiful morning view from webcam)

....we've recorded just 1.88" so far for June. Our average for June is 4.41", so we've got quite a deficit this month.

This week's weather looks warm with very little chances to increase our rainfall numbers. If we get any rain at all, we are looking at the 'garden-variety' of pop up thunderstorms rather than a slow, soaking rain event.

Ugh, wish I could send you some of OURS. Parts of Pinellas (FL) had 2.75" on Sunday. It also rained Saturday, and I suspect our scheduling an Open House may have had something to do with that.

Holy COW! 2.75" in one day? That is quite a bit of rain, Corgi!

How did the open house turn out?

Yeah, sounds like a lot but in an urban area like ours it mostly all goes into the storm drains and out into the Gulf. The only real beneficial rainfall is where we get it stretched out over several days, and inland so it can replenish the aquifers.

Open House went surprisingly well considering the weather. We're going to keep plugging away.
