Super Sunday Ahead!

Beautiful weather will cover the Highland Rim area of Middle Tennessee today with only an isolated chance at a shower or two. About a 20% chance.

Southern sections of Middle Tennessee were the big winners last evening and overnight as some stations received nearly 2" of rainfall. *Daily Rainfall Totals* (you can choose which state you want to see in the tab called Daily Precipitation Reports)

*Latest, Local Forecast*

My family and I are headed to church services today where we are members. Our church, Trinity Assembly in Algood, TN, has a great website where you can see the services live...first service is at 8:30 am and second is at 10:30 am....

On This Date:
It is a sultry day in one of the most oppressive heat waves in Middle Tennessee history. The high at Nashville reaches 99 degrees, following a morning low of 76. The mean temperature of 88 degrees sets a record for this date. The temperature at Tullahoma and Waynesboro also climbs to 99 degrees. Franklin and McMinnville hit 100; Dover, 101; and Lewisburg, 103.

When was it? Last year???? Nope...it was 1930!
