Black Friday Weather

Black Friday is here and my bride and eldest daughter woke up at 3 a.m. to take advantage of sales at various retailers across our fine city!

They were greeted with cloudy, cool conditions.  Highs are expected to reach the middle 50's this afternoon.

*Latest, Local Forecast*

The rest of the holiday weekend shows showers moving in overnight tonight and continuing through the rest of the weekend.  There is a chance for these showers to turn to snow showers on Sunday night and Monday!  Our 2008 Cookeville Christmas parade is Monday evening at 7 pm.  Weather conditions will be cold with a chance of snow showers.  Temperatures will be mostly around 30°.  We'll update this forecast as we get a little closer.

How about those Titans pounding the Lions on Thanksgiving Day?  We saw #10 on the field late in the game.  With a Colt's loss this weekend, the Titans clinch their division.

Been there ... done that!

This year, the only thing black was the inside of my eyelids as I slept!

That's just crazy... No way you could have gotten me up at 3am, or even 6am, to go shopping! That's why Al Gore invented the internet - online retailers!

Go Titans!

I stayed home with Baby Girl and slept, like....well the proverbial baby, while they shopped. Would have slept past 9:15 except my wife called to 'see how we were doing'.....they had fun shopping and are tired this evening! :)

Thanks for the comments Phil and Erik...hope your T-Giving holiday is well. Phil...we've got snow coming for our Christmas Parade on Monday night...surely, you and your wife are going...right?
