More Murfreesboro Tornado Info

**MORNING NOTES**
We'll get to the Murfreesboro situation in just a moment.  Locally, here in Cookeville, we have a light mist falling this morning with temperatures in the upper 40's. The drizzle will stick with us this morning before ending around lunch.  Highs are expected in the upper 50's today under a partly cloudy sky.  Clear and chilly tonight, low 38°.  Sunny and warm for your Easter Sunday with highs around 66°.

*Latest, Local Forecast*

**MURFREESBORO TORNADO**
Yesterday, around 12:30 p.m., a large and destructive tornado (possibly up to four) struck Murfreesboro, TN.  We have complete coverage over at our Nashville Weather Examiner site


*NEXT WEATHER SYSTEM*
Our next chance at strong-to-severe weather comes on Monday.  We'll have to watch to see how the next system plays out.

*RAINFALL UPDATE*
With the .95" we received yesterday, our April rainfall amount now totals 3.83" through the first 11 days of the month.  Total for 2009 now stands at 18.69", which is far ahead of normal.
