**Monday's Notes**
Showers and storms will be on the increase all week long with highs in the mid and upper 80's. The humidity levels will increase as well. Watching a possible chance for severe weather for Wednesday and Wednesday night, but need another day before we're confident.

Today near my friends' home in Coral Springs, FL a lawn care worker was killed by lightning while "trying to squeeze in a few more minutes of grass cutting" according to the news. Thunderstorms are NOTHING to mess with! Can't count the number of times in FL I saw beachgoers ignore the nearby rumbles just because the sun was shining overhead.
Hey Paul...if you read about lightning deaths over the last few years, you'll notice they were overwhelmingly males and all of them were killed outside...many were killed under trees or trying to squeeze in that last little bit of work, as you said. Lightning safety week is June 21-27 and I'll be posting about it soon. Good to hear from you..call me sometime, you have my number...
