Late Sunday Night Look

Very cold overnight with daybreak temps running between 5 and 8° depending on your location. Monday's highs will struggle (once again) to get into the 20's. We'll call it 21-23°.

The big story is the possible snow event for Thursday. While it is true that ANY snow which falls will stick, the million dollar question remains 'How Much Will We Receive'? I don't think you can begin forecasting an amount until Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Model runs continue to vary widely and indicate a little less than optimistic outlook for a big accumulating event.

Michael, thanks for all do on your site. You are the source for all of my Cookeville weather. Could you please elaborate a little on this: Model runs 'indicate a little less than optimistic outlook for a big accumulating event'.
