HIGHS IN 90's:
Prepare for the hot weather to continue this week as we'll see highs in the 90's each day. In fact, out of the last 11 days, we've had just one (here in Cookeville) that hasn't 90+. We'll see thunderstorm chances increase by Wednesday, but they will be widely scattered. There are heat warnings for the southwestern sections of Middle TN.
Don't forget that summer heat is a major killer. You can get more information by going to the National Weather Service (Nashville office) website.
I'll post a month in review concerning the facts and figures about July. As you can imagine, the operative word for July 2010 was HOT!
