Snow and Much Colder

WINTER BLAST:
Expect a combination of snow showers, cold air, and breezy winds today through Monday. We are under a Winter Storm Warning for the Cookeville and the Highlands of Tennessee area. Current temperature at 8:15 am is 27.5° and falling. Wind chill values have been as low as the teens this morning. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect as well. Expect road conditions to deteriorate as the day goes on Sunday.

Today:  Snow, with falling temperatures all day. 1-2" of accumulation by nightfall. Snow chances 100%


Tonight: Snow, cold, windy. Low 15° with another 1-2" of accumulation by morning. Snow chances 100%


Monday: Bitter cold, with a 30% chance of snow before noon. High just 21° and low of 6°

Thanks for the info. We plan to move to Cookeville after our home sells in the Maryville/Walland/Townsend area and hope that it snows in Cookeville once in a while to be able to cross country ski, even if it is only in a neighborhood. Thanks!!! Marilyn
