Gorgeous Saturday With A Better Easter Sunday

Many of you have to be loving this weather!

I was able to attend the grand opening of Dogwood Park this morning in Cookeville where some of you commented on the gorgeous weather. It was great to see so many readers of this weather blog!

Temperatures have warmed quickly across the Upper Cumberland. We started out at 37° just before sunrise but were quickly in the 60's by 9:30 am.

Temperatures have reached 70° this afternoon (with the high of 72.6° at 3:03 pm) under bright, sunny skies. Some increasing in the clouds overnight with a low of 48°.

For Easter Sunday, a bit cool to start BUT we'll warm quickly once again with a high in the 70's again! We'll begin the trend downward at the start of next week and by Wednesday, we may see highs only in the 50's with lows dropping into the 30's both Tuesday and Wednesday night. There may be spotty frost as well.
