Nice Friday; Chilly Weekend Ahead

There is an interesting weekend weather set-up coming that will involve everyone wearing jackets. Before we get there, however, we'll see a nice Friday with highs in the lower to middle 70's today with a slight chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.

For Friday night, a better chance of thunderstorms with a low of 51° Precipitation chances are 70%.

Saturday - A raw day with shower chances likely before 1 pm but it will be cloudy and chilly with a light north northwest wind and the rain chances are 60%. Highs only in the low 60's.

Saturday night - Chilly..with a low of 40° by Sunday morning.

Sunday - Continued cool with sunshine returning and a high of just 59°

Sunday night - Cold with lows in the upper 30's.

Next week will warm slowly with highs ranging from the upper 50's on Monday to the 70's by mid-week.

With temperatures running 10+° BELOW normal for the weekend and first of next week, we MAY see a chance for frost on Monday and Tuesday nights but I'll hold off on talking about that until the late weekend.
