Slight Rain Chances Plus Turning Cooler For A Day

Under the weather...short post today.

Good news, at least for a day, across middle TN. This oppressive heat continues for one more day before we get about a 36-hour relief. Today's high will be around 95° with a small chance of an isolated thunderstorm this afternoon.

The relief comes in the form of a front that will slip through our area later this afternoon. Overnight on Monday, expect temps to drop into the 50's. On Tuesday, it'll be dry with low humidity and breezy conditions. Highs in the 80's and it'll feel more like the 70's. Tuesday night will be chilly with a low by Wednesday morning of only 55°

After that, get ready for another long heatwave with highs nearing 100° by Friday backing off into the 90's for the weekend and back up near 100° by first of next week.

I have family down in the Florida panhandle this week and T.S. Debby is ruining their vacation along with many others.
