Blustery, Stormy, and Potential Snow

An interesting forecast over the next 24 hour period.

Winds are expected to pick up overnight and there is a Wind Advisory in effect for much of middle Tennessee from midnight tonight through midnight Thursday. You can expect 15 to 25 mph winds overnight with gusts to 35 mph while winds will be from 20 to 30 mph on Thursday gusting to 40 mph. This will certainly cause some interesting driving conditions and we may see certain objects blow around.

BLUSTERY THURSDAY:
Expect a low of around 50° by morning with a high on Thursday of 56° but that will be early and I do think temperatures will begin their descent downward throughout the afternoon. Conditions will be ripe for thunderstorm formation. Expect temps to be in the mid 40's by late in the day. Chance of showers and storms is 100%.

SNOW IS POSSIBLE:
For Thursday night, it'll remain windy with gusts to 20-30 mph and falling temperatures. Depending on the timing of the precipitation leaving the area, we may see some snow as lows are expected to be down around the middle 20's.

RAW AND COLD FRIDAY:
On Friday, a blustery and raw day with sunny skies and a high struggling to reach 40°. It'll feel much like a winter day with winds gusting to 25 mph out of the west northwest.

Very cold Friday night with a low of 24°.

CHRISTMAS RAIN:
Christmas Day looks chilly with rain chances and a high of just 50°.
