Interesting Christmas Week Forecast Ahead


Look for rain to develop today mainly in the western portions of middle TN and spreading eastward toward evening. High of 51° for Sunday and a 30% chance of showers during the day. Low tonight of 42° with an 80% chance of showers.

Christmas Eve will feature rain showers early but becoming cloudy in the afternoon. High of 54°. Mostly cloudy Christmas Eve night with  a low of 40°. Rain chances are 50%. 

Christmas Day features a 50% chance of rain showers after lunch and a high of just 49°. Windy Christmas night with a low of 37°. Rain chances are 90%.

The exact track of the snowstorm after Christmas day is uncertain and subject to change. Please stay weather aware during the next several days ESPECIALLY if you have travel plans. 

Wednesday is where it gets interesting with rain and snow likely. A high of 39° with windy conditions (25 mph gusts from the west) and the chance of precipitation is 70%. Wednesday night...a 20% chance of snow with a low of 24°. Sunny and cold both Thursday and Friday with a highs of 39° and 46° respectively.
