Summer Makes It's Return

I'm sure you've noticed the increase warmth today (Sunday) across the area. We've been as warm as 85° this afternoon. Some have seen a few stray showers and thunderstorms, but nothing compared to the coverage of showers the last two days.

WINTER OUTLOOK MAP:

The guys at http://firsthandweather.com/ have released a preliminary 2014-2015 winter forecast and it shows areas east of the Rockies with a winter of well below normal temps and average to above average rain/snow. I'm sure some teachers and students will love this prediction.

COLD JULY TEMPS
Speaking of cool weather, check out a couple of stories from The Weather Channel about the July record cold snap. It was one of the strongest ones ever recorded.
