Cold Thursday, Warm Weekend

After getting some snow here on Wednesday night, today will be cold with highs barely reaching into the 40's.

Speaking of snow, some locations on the Cumberland Plateau had some slippery roads and more than a dusting. For us, however, it was just flurries.

The good news is the weekend should be quite nice with highs in the 60's on Saturday. A couple of impluses should come through causing a slight chance of rain on Saturday, but a better chance Sunday.

I see where a station 8 miles east of Erwin, TN up in Unicoi County in upper East TN had a 1/2 inch of snow reported.

Hey, that guy from up in Wisconsin has a nice blog site. Very impressive with all the snow pictures and graphics!

It was a nice site...made me wish I was there enjoying the snow with my boys. They would have loved it. I hope your daughter has better luck having snow to play in as she grows up than my boys have. We have been in a "snow drought" of sorts most of their lives...
