Clearing Out Tonight (Beautiful Weekend Ahead)

It is almost hard to believe it is Wednesday evening.  This week seems to be flying by!  We received another .33 inches of rain since 7 am.  This gives us a storm total of more than an inch (1.04" to be exact).  Expectations are for a few showers this evening as the front approaches.

We will have clearing skies tonight after frontal passage and expect a gorgeous day on Thursday in Middle Tennessee as temperatures will climb to middle 70's.  We expect sunny skies all the way through Sunday with daytime highs reaching into the lower 80's and overnight lows in the upper 50's to near 60.

I was quite surprised to see more than 25 CoCoRaHS stations in Tennessee with 3+ inches of rainfall reported overnight.  The rainfall is welcome relief for many people.   Speaking of rain, on this date back in 1959, Nashville measures 2.93" for a 3-day total of 4.75".  Thanks to the guys at the Nashville NWS for that information!
