Cold & Cloudy Sunday

It was a great day to stay inside and eat chili or veggie soup while watching our Tennessee Titans.  Conditions are cloudy across the Volunteer State and very chilly.  At 3:30 pm, temperatures in Middle Tennessee are fighting to reach the middle 40's.  We expect lows tonight to drop into the 20's by daybreak.  Monday promises some sunshine and highs in the mid 50's but the rest of the week is unsettled with good rain chances each day.

*Latest, Local Forecast*

Titans go to 9-0
Our Titans beat the Chicago Bears 21-14 despite their running attack being non-existent.  Quarterback Kerry Collins completed 30 of 41 passes for nearly 300 yards.  The Titans are still undefeated at 9-0 with the Jacksonville Jaguars coming up next week.

Cookeville Weather History...on this date in 1986, we measured 4.10" of rain.  Record high this date was 80° in 2005 and the record low was 18° in 1991.  In a typical year, our high would be 62° and low 37°...last year, we had a high of 57 and low of 32.
