Beautiful Thursday

LOTS OF SUNSHINE!
A gorgeous day ahead here in Cookeville, TN.  Temperatures are expected to hit 50° under a bright, sunny sky!  We will see even warmer temperatures on Friday as highs reach 57°.  The next expectation for rain or snow comes around Monday night into Tuesday.  It is a little too far out in the forecast to be precise with what type or amount of precipitation!

VERY WARM
Go out and enjoy this beautiful day.  It will be our warmest day since January 10th.  Tomorrow will be our warmest day since January 4th when we hit 67°.  January 23rd's record high here in Cookeville is 58°, so we may have a shot at tying or breaking that record!

WEBSITE VISITS
January 2009 has been a huge month here at The Weather Guy.  We are on pace to have the biggest month ever.  In fact, it will exceed the biggest month ever by more than 30%!  I am very appreciative that many of you have chosen this web site as your 'go to' place for weather information.  I never tire of hearing from you all through comments, e-mails, and face-to-face encounters in public.  It is humbling.

SPOTTER CLASSES COMING
If you live in Middle TN, your spotter class training is coming to a city near you very soon.  Check out the schedule by going to the NWS-Nashville Spotter Information Page and see if your town has it's class scheduled.  The importance of attending these classes cannot be overemphasized.
