More Rain In The Bucket

FYI...the Cookeville-Putnam County Storm Spotter's Training Class is scheduled for March 13th, 2010 at the brand-new County Services Building in the Emergency Operations Center training room. Class will start at 10 o'clock in the morning and expect it to last about two hours. For more info, contact me via e-mail or Tom Johnstone via e-mail.


RAIN AGAIN: Add nearly another inch (.95") overnight to our rain total. We stand at 3.69" for December and 73.99" for 2009. This total makes for the 3rd-most precipitation ever in Cookeville. Only 1979 with 74.28" and 1998 with 76.46" saw more rain than this year.

TODAY'S FORECAST: Rain should begin to taper off by lunchtime and we'll see light drizzle through tonight. Hi today around 50° with a low tonight of 44°. Partly sunny and 63° on Monday. See more of the forecast by clicking the link below.
