Wet Weekend Ahead

*****3:25 PM UPDATE*****
The rain is late arriving this afternoon. Current station reports show the rain line moving into southern portions of Middle Tennessee by 4 o'clock this afternoon and well after dark for the Cookeville and Putnam County area. We believe rain will continue throughout the night and into Sunday. 


RAIN IN THE FORECAST: Look for showers to develop in the Cookeville area after lunch with heavier rains moving in this evening. High temperature just 44 degrees. Tonight's low 39. On Sunday, showers stick around with a high of 49. The long-range outlook is for a warm day on Monday with a high of 62. Rain moves back in the picture on Monday nigh and Tuesday with sharply colder temperatures returning for Wednesday.
