Wild Weather Week Continues

Quite a few story lines for today!


  • A Wind Advisory through 2 pm today. Gusts to 40 mph today. Recorded at 48 mph gust yesterday



  • Temperatures will fall through the 40's into the 30's by late afternoon.



  • Wind chills will be down into the 20's by late afternoon, so dress accordingly



  • Tonight's lows will be nearly 30° COLDER than last night with a low of 24° by morning.



  • 1.63" of rain was recorded overnight, 2.74" for December, and 73.04" for 2009 which makes this the 3rd wettest year ever in Cookeville, Tennessee!
