Sunny Sunday (March Madness & Skywarn)

SUPER SUNDAY FORECAST: For many across Middle TN, highs will reach into the 60's today after a morning start in the lower to mid 20's. I expect even a warmer day on Monday. Rain enters out picture by Tuesday and hangs around through the weekend as the weather pattern becomes more active.
  • MARCH MADNESS: CoCoRaHS (Community Collaborative Rain Hail and Snow Network) is holding their annual March Madness. This doesn't have anything to do with basketball. It has to do with recruiting. We are on a mission to have 20,000 volunteers measuring rainfall across the nation. Here in Putnam County, we need YOU to help us. Go to the CoCoRaHS web site for much more information. Need to ask a specific question that isn't answered?? E-mail me!
  • SPOTTER TRAINING: Coming up on March 13th in Cookeville, TN at the Emergency Services Building just off Willow Avenue is the Spotter Training Class. The course starts at 10:00 am and no advanced reservations are necessary. Also, this class is open to the public. So come a little early and get a great seat.

SUNDAY MORNING CHURCH: Last and certainly not least on the list are the 8:30 am and 10:30 am (CST) church services at Trinity Assembly in Algood, TN. If you cannot join us in person, feel free to look in on our LIVE, streaming service by going to our web site.

Enjoy this beautiful Sunday!!
