Warmer Still With 80's Thursday and Friday

EVEN BETTER TODAY: Cool morning across Cookeville with 6:45 am temperatures of 38°. Expect highs to reach 75° this afternoon under a sun-filled sky. We continue to be under a Fire Weather Watch this afternoon for low humidity (under 25%) and windy (above 15 mph) conditions. Another cool night tonight followed by another incredibly nice day for Thursday with highs around 78°!

MARCH SUMMARY: We'll end this month with temperatures running right around 3° below normal with an average temperature of 46.8°. Our warmest day was 71.6° on the 24th, but that will be eclipsed today, while our coldest temperature was 20° on the 6th. We ended March with 3.27" and our average wind was 2.8 mph with a high wind gust of 33 mph on the 27th. March's dominant wind direction was from the northwest.
