Sunny and Warm

NICE TODAY; NICER TOMORROW: Expect sunshine for your Tuesday with a high of 63°. Chilly start this morning as temperatures are around 33° at just before 7 a.m. in Cookeville and across the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee. The cool nights and warm days with abundant sunshine will continue through Saturday. Expect highs to warm each day, 75° on Wednesday, 78° on Thursday, and 81° on Friday. Best week, thus far, of 2010.

1960 - An F2 tornado cuts an 8-mile path across Lewisburg to Farmington in southern Middle Tennessee.
1915 - My paternal grandfather, Karl Detwiler, was born this date. He passed away from this life in 1992. Also, on this date, Cookeville records a late winter's snowfall of 2".
