Rain Returning For Weekend

NICE THURSDAY ON TAP:
Expect a decent day ahead with highs near 80° in Cookeville. Skies will remain mostly cloudy throughout the day. A slight chance of rain overnight with a low of 61°. Friday's weather will be mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon. The high will be in the mid 80's. Storm chances remain for Friday night and increase on Saturday with lows in the mid 60's and highs in the mid 80's. Sunshine returns for Sunday.

ANNUAL CAPSHAW COUGAR RUN:
The fundraiser for the Cookeville school is this Friday morning. It is a local tradition. The forecast for the event is for cloudy skies and temperatures rising from around 70° to 75° by the time the run is complete.

FALL FUN FEST:
The annual Fall Fun Fest takes place this weekend in Cookeville. It features some of the best BBQ teams in the country competing for awards. There is also a street fair, concerts, and a lot of fun for kids! The forecast is a bit of challenge for Friday night and Saturday as Fun Fest goers may be dodging some rain, especially on Saturday!

CAVALIERS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL:
Friday night at 7 pm, our Cookeville High School Cavaliers take on Lebanon here in Cookeville. There is a slight chance (about 33%) for rain with a game time temperature of 80° falling back to 73° by the late fourth quarter. GO CAVS!
