Quiet New Year's Eve Week Ahead

Expect a chilly day for today, Monday, with highs only reaching 30°. Eventually we will see some peeks of sunshine this afternoon. Very, very cold tonight with a low of 13° in Cookeville and even colder away from town.

We will see a warming trend over the rest of the week as highs will be 40° on Tuesday and rising to 56° by Friday. Rain enters the picture on Wednesday night and chances stick with us through New Year's Day. We may even see a chance of a thunderstorm on New Year's Eve!
