Morning Showers, Possibly Heavy


SHOWERS TODAY:
Look for morning showers across middle Tennessee this morning with some areas seeing possibly moderate to heavy showers. This will occur east of Interstate 65 and will move slowly toward the Cookeville area. Expect a high temperature of around 78-80° this afternoon. Speaking of rain, we've received another .07" during the last 24 hours and are nearing 7" for the month of September. The complete rundown of the numbers are located in the Daily Almanac below.

SUNSHINE COMING:
We should see that burning ball of fire reappear in the sky on Thursday with intermittent clouds but rains return for Thursday night and Friday. Another round of sunny skies is expected on Saturday with cooler weekend temperatures. Rain again on Sunday!
