Sunny, But Cool

Welcome to Good Friday and the Easter weekend!

Look for a sunny day across middle Tennessee for your Friday. We'll be cool, so cool that it'll probably be the first day in 2 months we're below normal in our temperature. Been awhile since we've seen temperatures in the 40's at 9 o'clock in the morning. Average high temp for April 6th are 66° in Cookeville while the typical low is 40°. Look for a high of 64° and a low of 38° tonight.

We'll moderate on Saturday a bit with a high of 70°. Same thing for Easter Sunday.

After another nice day on Monday, a dry front drops our temps back into the 60's for highs and 40's for lows the rest of next week.

WHY GOOD FRIDAY?
Good Friday marks the day that Jesus Christ died for all the sins of mankind. Jesus was God in the flesh. The first chapter of John deals with the fact that the word was God. All things were made by God. The word was made flesh and he dwelt among us (Jesus). Christ suffered for sins so that he might bring us to God (1 Peter 3:18).

Take time today to meditate upon the word of God. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. If take nothing else away from this, know that God loves you, has a great plan for you, Jesus died for you, and you can have everlasting life through knowing who Jesus is. I hope this weekend is the best one of your life. Want to know more? Just ask me!
