Thunderstorms Possible

TUESDAY FORECAST:
Thunderstorms are rumbling to the west of Nashville this morning and may well affect our area later this afternoon. Combine those with the moisture being pulled into our area from Tropical Storm Beryl and you've got the ingredients for a 50/50 shot for storms around Cookeville. Today's high will be around 85°

Expect dry weather and warm temps on Wednesday with a high of 88°

EXTENDED FORECAST:
Storm chances return on Thursday and will go all the way through Friday night. We'll see quite a drop off in temps with highs in the mid 80's on Thursday, mid 70's on Friday and Saturday, and near 70° on Sunday.

HOW MUCH RAIN:
All in all, these next few days may well see anywhere from 1" - 2" of rainfall over our area.

The heat, however, returns on Monday of next week.
