Weekend Rains With Thunderstorms

*Thursday's high was 63° in Cookeville.*
A little factoid about the high. It was the first time this month we were in the 60's. We've been in the 70's twice and in the 50's eight times. You have to go all the way back to November 22 (almost a month to find a high temperatures in the 60's).

The above link is a new way to view my weather station live. Wunderground is really doing some great, new things with their website. I hope you like how this looks.

WARM, BUT CLOUDY FRIDAY
We expect another warm day on Friday but expect an increasing chance for showers during the afternoon. Shower chances double for the evening and overnight hours.

YOUR RAIN-FILLED WEEKEND FORECAST:
Thunderstorm chances enter the picture on Saturday with highs near 70°. Thunderstorms continue Saturday nigh and into Sunday with highs reaching near 70° once again. I do expect the rain chances to wrap up on Sunday night with much cooler temperatures.

COLD CHRISTMAS WEEK:
Christmas week will be mainly sunny but chilly with highs in the 40's and lows in the 20's. On Christmas Day, expect a high of around 50°. Sorry kids, but no snow for Christmas this year in the Cookeville, TN area.

2014 is right around the corner!
