Warmer Day Ahead; Colder Rest of Week

NICE TODAY, BUT: We will warm to near 60° this afternoon under a mostly cloudy sky. Slight rain chances for tonight and Tuesday with cold weather returning by Tuesday evening. The rest of the week will be very cool and dry with temperatures running below normal.

RAINFALL: With another .06" in the CoCoRaHS rain gauge, it gives us 3.75" for the month of December and 74.05" for 2009, it is only the 3rd time ever Cookeville has recorded 74"+ of rain.

Egad! 64 degrees at 3:00, according to Arthur Mometer out here by Pippin Road. Think I'll fire up the barbecue!
