Light Mist This Morning

***2:00 PM UPDATE***
Pesky clouds continue to hang on, but clearing skies are being reported just to our west. Expect sunshine for late in the day. NWS revised temps down to 49° for the high. Currently, just 41° at 10 minutes before 2 pm. 


CLOUDS GIVE WAY TO SUN: Chilly temperatures this morning at 7:20 am (38.6°) in Cookeville. We do expect to see sunshine later and a high of 52° late this afternoon. Chilly overnight with lows in the middle 30's. Sunshine for Saturday with highs expected in the middle 60's. VERY NICE!!

1959 - 3" sized hail is reported in Rutherford County

Daily Weather Story
Strong storms rolled across parts of TN on Thursday. Most of the worst weather missed the Putnam County and Cookeville area, but we did see winds gust to 31 mph here. Winds of up to 60 mph were measured in Davidson County, near Madison. See storm damage reports above.
