Showers and Thunderstorms Likely

Your Friday forecast includes a good chance for rain today with an approaching 'cold' front. High temperatures will top 90°. Chance of rain is 60%. The strongest of the storms will remain to our south. At 7 am, it is sunny and 75° in Cookeville, TN. Overnight, we received .11" of rain.

Expect sunny skies with no rainfall this weekend. Highs will be around 90° with a noticeable difference in the heat index or 'feels like' temperatures. Winds will be out of the northwest and that will contribute to a more comfortable couple of days.

The work week ahead returns us to a more humid-like pattern with shower and thunderstorm chances each day. Highs will be around 90° to the lower 90's all next week with a 20-40% chance of rain.
