Morning Thunderstorms and Warm


Rumbles of thunder are being heard across the Cookeville area this morning at 8:00 am. Expect cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain with isolated flooding as this well-defined package of storms moves slowly through. As you can see in the morning camera shot above, storms are approaching from the north (on the far left of the shot). For the rest of your Saturday, we'll have a 40% chance of thunderstorms and a high around 88°. A chance of thunderstorms overnight with a low of 75°.


A better chance for thunderstorms on Sunday with a high near 90° with the storms staying around Sunday night and a low of 71°.
